X-Pac® X50 Tactical is an extremely robust 3-layer X3 laminate with a 500D CORDURA® face fabric and aramid X-PLY® reinforcement for maximum abrasion and tear resistance. The construction consists of a 500D CORDURA® nylon face fabric with DWR finish, laminated 400d aramid X-PLY® fibers at a 22° angle in the middle, and a waterproof 0.5 mil polyester film as the backing layer.

This combination makes X50 Tactical low-stretch, highly dimensionally stable and extremely abrasion-resistant, providing very high tear and tear propagation resistance at a moderate areal weight of around 310 g/m². The laminate is permanently waterproof, windproof and fast-drying – ideal for heavily used gear where maximum durability is more important than an ultra-light weight.

The aramid X-PLY® fibers create the characteristic diamond pattern and increase the overall stability of the laminate, while the CORDURA® face fabric offers very high abrasion resistance and a subtle tactical appearance. In short: X50 Tactical makes hard-used gear more robust and ensures reliable performance even under long-term, intensive use.

Supply:  You will receive a pre-cut panel (72 cm wide × 100 cm long). For multiple units, we ship individual, separately pre-cut panels – not continuous yardage. For larger projects that require more than one panel, we recommend ordering full-width fabric by the meter.

Typical applications: Heavily used duty and deployment packs, range bags and pouches, tactical gear such as plate carriers and chest rigs, robust duffel, travel and messenger bags, bikepacking bags and other MYOG/DIY projects where maximum durability, high stability and waterproofness are key

To clean X-Pac®, use a soft cloth or sponge with a little mild soap and water. Rinse the material with clean water afterwards and let it air dry.

X-Pac® fabrics are not suitable for machine washing or tumble drying, as this can lead to delamination of the laminate layers
