X-Pac® VX21 is a 4-layer X4 laminate and is considered the world’s most popular laminated pack fabric. The construction consists of a 210 denier nylon face fabric with DWR finish, a laminated, diagonally oriented X-PLY® reinforcement made from recycled polyester, a waterproof polyester film layer, and a 50 denier polyester taffeta backing made from recycled fibers.
This combination makes VX21 low-stretch, dimensionally stable and highly abrasion-resistant, with excellent tear and tear propagation resistance, while maintaining a low weight of around 210 g/m². The construction is permanently waterproof, windproof and quick-drying – ideal for gear that needs to perform reliably.
The X-PLY® fibers create the characteristic diamond structure and increase the stability of the laminate, while the light taffeta on the inside often makes a separate lining unnecessary.
Delivery: Continuous meters in the full fabric width of 150 cm.
