INVISTA CORDURA® TRUELOCK™
INVISTA CORDURA® TRUELOCK™ 500 Denier is an exceptionally durable material made from color-stable INVISTA solution-dyed fibers. With TRUELOCK™ technology, the pigment is locked directly into the fiber during production — deep, long-lasting, and consistent throughout the fiber cross-section. This process reduces the ecological footprint by minimizing water, energy, and chemical use in textile manufacturing.
This technology provides tangible benefits such as abrasion-resistant and UV-stable color, inherent stain resistance, no dye migration or discoloration, batch-to-batch shade consistency, and uniform appearance across textile components (e.g., fabric and webbing).
The INVISTA CORDURA® canvas weave (Canvas 1/1) combines high tear and abrasion resistance with versatility. With its slightly textured, soft surface and pleasant hand feel, it is ideal for durable gear and can be sewn easily on household sewing machines, even in multiple layers — perfect for MYOG (Make Your Own Gear) and DIY projects.
The fabric has a PU coating on the back and an FC finish on the front side, making it resistant to water, oil, and dirt.
