COBRA® PRO STYLE

The COBRA® PRO STYLE is the world’s leading aluminum safety buckle for professional gear where failure is not an option.

With its patented locking mechanism and extremely high breaking strength, it meets the toughest safety requirements in tactical, rescue, and industrial applications.

In combination with suitable webbing, the minimum guaranteed tensile strength is 9 kN in straight pull and 18 kN in loop configuration.

The patented closure design allows the male and female parts to lock quickly and intuitively, with an audible click confirming that the buckle is fully and securely engaged. When closed, the PRO STYLE COBRA® offers exceptional articulation between the male and female parts, keeping your belt or harness flexible and comfortable even under load.

A large cut-out on the backside lets dirt, dust, ice, and snow escape instead of clogging the mechanism, which further improves reliability and extends the service life of the buckle in harsh environments.

Typical applications:

PPE (personal protective equipment), air sports, tactical belts and gear, professional equipment, performance fashion

Buckle materials:

  • Body: Aluminum 7075
  • Clips: Solid Brass
  • Clip pins, clamping bars: Stainless steel
  • Minimum break load: 9 kN (Loop: 18 kN)
  • Temperature range: -45°C to +90°C
  • Compatibility: All PRO STYLE sizes can be combined

Buckle dimensions:

  • Length: 64 mm
  • Width: 63 mm
  • Height: 10 mm
  • Weight: 80 g

Standards:

  • EN358:2018-11 (partially)
  • EN ISO 9227

The buckles are shipped from the factory in bulk packaging rather than individually wrapped. This means that minor surface marks, light scratches, or small dents on the finish may occasionally occur and are purely cosmetic.

For buckles with HARD COAT finish or anodized surfaces, the male and female parts can sometimes show slight color shade differences that may be visible to the naked eye. This is a process-related effect, as both halves are manufactured and coated in separate steps, and it does not affect performance or safety. Such cosmetic variations are not considered a defect and do not constitute a reason for complaint or return.
